Light in the Dark found at Mauston Farmers Market

On Saturday mornings you will find  Abigail Fleming doing what she loves to do - creating art that not only focuses on the beauty found in  nature but also the beauty in taking discarded pieces representing the past and giving them a chance to tell a new story.

Abigail shares her visions, and her pieces at local farmers' markets in Juneau County - including the one held every Saturday morning in downtown Mauston - the place she calls home.

Light in the Dark is what she uses to describe her work. Work that comes alive on window panes, saw blades, and old CDs  - as well as some other mediums.

The art on window panes gives a new meaning to stained glass -each one very different.

Abigail, a friendly woman, will take time and speak to all who stop by. She's a humble woman who lives her life with purpose and appreciates the same in others.

She often donates the proceeds from some of her work to benefit children in areas of the world where poverty is the norm. A woman with obvious deep faith, she lets her art speak for itself.

Soon she hopes to have a website but until then you can find her on Saturday mornings in Mauston at the Farmers' Market...she also spends time at the Elroy Farmers' Market held on Wednesdays from 3pm -7pm  - In the mean time catch another side of her on You Tube - the
woman can rock!
